As the IMAT 2024 is quickly approaching, it is soon going to be time to shift your studies to a more practical approach to learning. Studying content is of course essential, but no IMAT preparation is complete without practicing IMAT style questions.
The only problem is that there are not that many past IMAT papers out there and you will quickly run out. That is why we’ve created 300 new IMAT-styled science questions for you!
Science Questions in the IMAT
The IMAT science questions are divided as follows…
- 23 Biology questions
- 15 Chemistry questions
- 13 Math and Physics questions*
*in 2023 it was 5 physics questions and 7 math questions
The questions…
- Have 5 options to choose from (A, B, C, D or E)
- Give 1.5 marks if answered correctly
- Give -0.4 marks if answered incorrectly
- Give 0 marks if not answered
IMAT Style Questions
IMAT questions have 5 options to choose from. On top of this, they have a certain way of being written and a certain level of difficulty. We have taken this into account when preparing these new questions for you, so you can get realistic exposure to the types of questions you are likely to face in the IMAT.
IMAT Science Questions
These 300 new IMAT style questions are all science type questions. Since biology is the most important topic in the science section, and the IMAT in general, most of them are biology questions. This is followed by chemistry and lastly by math and physics.

The above are in a very similar style to the IMAT. There are of course less similar science questions in other types of exams or online that can be worth practising as well, even if they do not follow the same structure as the IMAT.
Daily IMAT Question Bank
We have split these questions into 30 daily sessions that you can practice before the IMAT. Practicing 10 IMAT style science questions from our course per day is a great habit to get into. Of course, you still need to combine this with other materials like our simulators, past papers, as well as lessons if you have not already studied them.
Feel free to study more than one per day as well!

What does it mean for EU students? Do we need to go to specific university website to perform anything?

Pre-enrolment is a step that non-EU students need to perform on Universitaly. If you are an EU student you do not need to do this step.
Be aware that there may be university specific applications that you need to do on their specific websites as well.

Our first 10 quizzes in the science question bank are free and open to everyone. We also have a free IMAT simulator. Furthermore, the sample lessons also have quizzes which are free of charge. The rest of the questions however do require payment to access.
