No. These questions are not from past IMAT papers. They are designed not to ¨waste¨ actual IMAT questions while still giving you realistic practice for what an actual paper could look like.
The questions are identical in structure to the real IMAT, that is they are multiple choice with 5 options A) to E) to choose from.
Yes. While question difficulty varies in each test, we have tried to optimise questions to be a realistic simulation of the day.
Some IMAT papers are more difficult than others. We have created some papers that are fairly simple, some that are of average difficulty and some that are even harder than the IMAT. This is so that you can be prepared for both an easier and a harder IMAT test when you actually take the exam.
It depends on the simulator. An easier exam will generally result in IMAT cut-offs increasing, while a harder exam will see cut-offs drop. Thus it really depends on the simulator. We will give more information about each simulator so you know what score is considered good for each one.
Yes. It is vital that you learn from your mistakes, so always check the worked solution, especially if you got the answer wrong.
Each simulator has 60 questions, the same as the real test. However, the section allocation will vary depending on the simulator. It is not uncommon for the IMAT to change its section allocation of questions, so we want you to be prepared for anything.
Please note the marking scheme of the simulators, meaning your test will be scored out of 60 with 1 mark for a correct answer and 0 for an incorrect answer. In the actual exam, the marks are 1.5 for a correct answer and -0.4 for an incorrect answer.
